Sense with Voice wants to be the sleep tracker you actually need

Sleep-tracking technology is becoming increasingly common, with fitness trackers and in-bed monitors now being used by more and more of us.
However, many systems are still seen as not reliable enough when it comes to actually tracking and analysing sleep patterns and quality. Smart Home firm Hello thinks they have a solution though, and it involves sensors, an app and voice control.
(Hello)
It’s just launched in the US.
At the centre of the Sense with Voice system is an orb that sits on your bedside table. It collects a range of data about your room: including the amount of light coming into it, temperature, humidity, air quality and noise levels – applying all of it to your night’s rest.

This is combined with the Sleep Pill, a small sensor that attaches to your pillow and tracks your movement as you sleep.
All this is then combined into the app that runs on your smartphone, and using a large amount of so-called sleep science determines a sleep score for you each night that analyses the quality of your rest. There’s a timeline too to see the various cycles of each night’s sleep, and then a calendar that shows your sleep over a monthly period and any trends that exist within it.
(Hello)
The result is being able to give feedback on providing a better environment in which to sleep, as well as the time you need to go to bed.
And as for the “With Voice” aspect of the product’s name, this version of Sense can be voice controlled – able to give you vocal feedback on your sleep as well as set alarms with a command from you.
